On the 28th of November 2023, for the second time, Mediawave organised the Anna Lindh Foundation's Mediterranean Music Day, co-funded by the European Union, which this year, in the spirit of solidarity, conveyed a universal message of music and art for peace.
The event was hosted by the Fény Utcai Piac (Light Street Market) in Budapest, where the Mediawave Open Chamber Orchestra (composer: Miquéu Montanaro, conductor: Ádám Móser) was joined by János Vázsonyi, the Kaptza Orchestra, SimorÁg TánCirkusz and The Flock Project, who dazzled the audience with light juggling and aerial performances. No walls were left white, thanks to DJ Green, aka the light painting workshop of Méhkasaula.
The not-so-Mediterranean Hungarian climate was made hot by warm tea and homemade goods on the community table.
