The award was created and has been given to those artists who could be impulsive, strong and even difficult personalities, other times they are humble, quiet people who are almost imperceptible. What unites them is that they have not been broken or dragged down to mediocricity by political pressure or the pressure of their environment. The awarded artists this year are: Balog Attila (writer, poet), Bata Rita (dancer, chorographer), Lakatos Mónika (singer), Leena Conquest (USA, singer), Petrás Mária (singer, cheramist), Rutkai Bori (singer, fine artist), Villányi László (poet, editor).

You can find more information on the artists here.
