The jury has made its selection at the 34th MEDIAWAVE Another Connection International Film and Music Gathering! This year, more than 700 films were submitted from all over the world. On the 28th of November 2023, for the second time, Mediawave organised the Anna Lindh Foundation's Mediterranean Music Day, co-funded by the European Union, which this year, in the spirit of solidarity, conveyed a universal message of music and art for peace.

PASSPORT CONTROLL'23 International Workshops and Summer Gathering
This year's Passport Controll Art Workshops and Community Gathering took place between 17-21th July, at the wonderful Kund Castle and Bird Paradise at Somogyfajsz.
This year we organised the 33rd edition of the MediaNEWave Gathering, that started with the Mediawave International Film Festival at the Cirkó-Gejzír Cinema in Budapest, and continued with a spring renewal celebration at the wonderful Hungarian countryside, Ravazd. A short summary film of the Ravazd Renewal Celebration can be found here.
At the end of May (26-28 May), the next stage, entitled Pentecoste Improvisations, took place, bringing to life the "classical" music, theatre, dance and community lineage of Mediawave at the Ravazd Őrhegy Manor. Catch the mood here.

The founders and first operators of the Rómer House were the team mates of Mediawave, its website was/is also owned by Mediawave, thus the online content and documentation of the "venue", actually operated by Mediawave between 1999 and 2008, survived...
